Enable progressive on the Diamonds & Devils Deluxe

Is it possible to put a progressive on the Diamonds & Devils Deluxe game ?


At the moment, I have three winnings (2,000 / 10,000 / 100,000 credits) that do not change, like on this video : https://youtu.be/4KArqq1rQU4?t=47s

I have not found during the ram clear at which moment the progressive setting is available.

I made a new Ram Clear, but I do not have access to the Progressive parameter.


When I touch the icon, nothing happens.


Perhaps it is blocked according to the bios or jurisdiction chip ...

What OS are you using in your machine?


I believe older OS progressive setup was slightly different. I thought I saw Rick make a video on how to setup the progressives the old way. Maybe he will chime in with link.

3min54s  in the Pending Status screen, I don't have "Invalid Progressives"


4min04 : in the "Comm Setup" sub-menu, I don't have any "Progressive" icon.







I just saw the video of rickhunter, and I have exactly the same screens as him.


But nothing happens when I press PROGRESSIVE TYPE: none at 1min09 in his video.

Then maybe your jurisdiction chip doesn't allow progressives?

One of the the information screens in the diagnostics section will give you the jurisdictional information as to limits and whatnots.  It is probably jurisdictional lock.  The only way to get around that is to get a jurisdictional chip that will allow the progressive, but you will also need to make sure your validator is compatible with it.

You know the idiot of the year? Well it’s me!!! 




First I tried to change the Jurisdiction chip, and then I changed the CF card of the game, but without result.


It is finally Fantillusion who gave me the solution ... wich was not operate the machine in multi denomination!!!!


Yep, I multi denomination it is not possible to activate the progressive!!! It is obvious of course!

A good rule of thumb is to disable multi-denom, However, some of the newer Alpha games will allow you to set up multi-denom with progressives that change depending on denoms.
