multi denom without touch pad

im trying to set up a s2000 with multi denomination, not using the touch pad, but using the 1x1inch button on the right side of the play max credit button...the machine im trying to change was working as a 50/100 machine...i am trying to change it to a 25/50 machine instead...after clearing the machine, all i am able to get to the .25 and .50, along with the game % for each...the problem is, i cannot get the button to work to change the denominations...it was working, but not now

i am sure this just confused the heck out of some and probably made it worse with all my extra gibberish

What did you set the accounting denom at?

Did you set 7.1.1.3 player denomination?

i set the following   accounting denom....25   coin denomination .25     player denom 1 .25     2  .50    rest are disabled    set player 1 game %   set player 2 game %

Sounds correct lets try something simple, is the button fully seated and the micro switch working for your change denomination button?

yes..the switch is fully seated...it was working before i cleared the machine...just for s&g's...im gonna redo the clear chips again, incase it didnt completely clear...

Well..I redid the clear chips and the button is working... not sure of what I would or could have done wrong but I am not complaining!!!  Out of all the machines that I have had in the last 10 or so years, I think this is the first one that I ever setup with the button multi demon....it's always been the touch pad

Anyways, thanks again for the help..this is a great site full of great people
