having problem with my igt s2000 triple star.
« on: August 02, 2015, 06:29:00 PM »
I have a igt triple star 5 cent with 5 reels.
reel 2 i'm getting a tilt on. It hardly spins around. It's real jerky. sometime it will spin backwards. But it will not let you play a game. I moved the reel to another spot to see if the reel was bad. But I got the same issue with the other reel plugged in the reel two spot. I also have the code for door open on it.
I was told too spin the reel around three times by hand and reset with the key. It worked one play then went back to the problem. So I can't figure out what to do to fix it. Any ideas? Or is anybody around Cedar Rapids Iowa tha know how too work on slot machines?
Thanks
Jerry

The reel thing is kind of goofy, but you may have more than one thing going on. Check the belly glass door to make sure it's closed all the way, may still have the optics hooked up. And the cash can (bill stacker) if they are still hooked up. And make sure the main door latch is all the way down. The optics on it could be misaligned. Also raising and lowering the latch a couple of times could clear any stacked errors that S2000's will carry over. Try some of this and let us know what happens. Welcome to NLG.
