The error tells you what door is open. How EXACTLY does the error read? If it says "Door M Closure" (or have any Door, and the word CLOSURE), it is simply letting you know the door was open, but now it is closed. That is not an error, and will go away after first spin.

The message will not let you play until you make it go away by opening and closing the door  a few times. Sometimes it takes a few times opening and closing the door to a lot of times opening and closing the door to make the message go away and once it goes away then that's when it let's you continue playing. Do you guys think that it is the door sensor not working properly or the white spring loaded push button located behind the cash box? Any suggestions?

What is the EXACT message? Different door locations give different messages.

If the message says "door open m" then you're having trouble with the optics on the main door. Either you're not getting it latched completely, they're a bit misaligned or going bad. If the message reads "door open mb" then the cash can housing door isn't showing closed probably because the microswitch mounted to it isn't getting pressed for some reason. If this is your problem then the simple solution is to remove the wires from it and tie the bare ends together thus bypassing that switch. The white push switches aren't part of the circuit unless someone used the one on the main door to bypass the main door optics at some point.

So how do I fix it if it has a problem with the optics on the main bill validator door?

There are no optics on the bill validator housing, just a microswitch on the door.
Based on your last post, pull your cash can, reseat it, make sure the release lever for it returns fully to the locked position and close the door that houses it. When closing the main door, be sure the release latch is fully seated, even a little bit not seated can cause the main door optics to not line up. After you close the main door properly the machine should react by going through a very short reset to achknowledge the door was closed

That's the thing that I have to keep doing that over and over and over for it to work. It never works on the first try. Is there any way to bypass that.

Go to the search box above and type in "bypassing S2000 door optics", it's a pretty simple procedure. While your at it, check the green 3 cell battery on your MPU board and see if it's leaking. A bad one can damage the circuit for the door optics. Also, check door optic alignment by opening the main door, use a marker to identify the location of the cabinet side optic eye and the location of the eye on the door side optic, close and latch the door, see if your marks line up.

I believe the machine is a slant top, so aligning the optics are done differently. As with most slant tops, you just about have to jump on the door to get it closed and latched properly. As for the bill stacker door,  try taping it shut to see if that helps. If not, there is a thread on here about bypassing the micro switch by just cutting the wires and twisting them together (so they always think they are closed).

So is the optics bypass on a slant top the same as on an upright? Are wire colors the same and whatnot?

I've never bypassed main door optics on a slant, but the optics are same as an upright (red/white and black/white).
