Anyone know how to set up the wager wheel?

Hi all,

When setting up some of my BB2 games, in the same place you set up the denomination payback percent there is a "wager wheel" referenced.  I'm thinking this is what I've seen at the casino that pops up if you have fewer credits than you are betting, and it gives the chance for a last play.  I've tried to set it up, but it always tells me my config won't support it.  Does anyone know what is needed to activate that feature or is that one of those casino only things?

I don't know what the wager wheel is, but what you are referring to is called Wager Saver.  Wager Saver automatically shows up if you have less credits than the minimum bet requires.  It is only available on certain games.

Ah, that does sound more right than wager wheel now that you say it.  I'll have to pay more attention and grab some screen shots next time I see the option I'm talking about :-) Either it says wager saver and I'm off on both accounts or it is for something different entirely.  Thanks, will revisit this when photo's are available.

Rick, the feature you are describing is a BB3 Blade feature.  As for the wager wheel he is talking about it's not a feature that can be activated for home use.

I have set it up when available on certain games/os's on my  BB1 conversion 550 cabinet.  You need a coin in/out setup (comparitor and hopper) active in the game setup.

For example, I always set up my games on this cabinet with a base denom of $50.00 so that every nickel I drop in gets me 50 bucks credit. Kind of like a token would.  So when cashing out if I have 60 bucks in credits, it spits out a nickel and tells me the 10 bucks can't be paid by the machine, and gives me the option of hand pay or wager wheel.  If I take the wager wheel option, the game goes into the wheel spin and if the red line lands in the green area you get 50 dollars credit that you can then cash out or play off. If it lands anywhere else your wager is gone byebye.  The green area is proportional to the amount of your wager.  So if you play the wager wheel for say 35 dollars the green area is pretty large vs if your wager amount is 1 dollar the green part is like a thin line.................I will try to get a pic of it when I have it active again. Not available on current game  "Lucky Meercats"  LOL

Thanks Steve, I was definitely curious what that setting was since it wasn't what I had hoped.  It seems like maybe this was the earlier, more limited version of what became the wager saver on the blade cabinet.
