Reels stop wrong place

Have a 2000 5 reel. When start up reels do not stop at proper sequence. After opening & closing door several time they stop where they should & machine works ok. Turn off. Next time turn on same thing. What should I be looking at for problem.  Thanks

Are you getting a reel fault when this happens?
Many of my Reel Touch machines do the same.
Annoying but manageable. I have found newer reel assemblies (less worn) don't do this.

Yep, I have reel tilt come up. Hard to sell it this way. Afraid it will shut down for someone.

Ford, What MPU & SG chips are you using? Usually SG363 or similar do this when combined with an enhanced MPU. Might be as simple as updating those probably to SG598.

You will have to key chip after the change. SG523 (cash out light flashes) or SG598 (cash out burns solid) either should correct the problem. I like The 523 but most swear by the 598.

Hi Bill. Yep only the good die young. Now that it's cold I'll park the bike for now & Get some machines ready to go. Hope all is good with you. Since wife passed have not done too much with slots.

Hey Ford,  Hope  to see you at the next Get Together.  I hope to be getting around pretty good by then although the doctor put me back on chemo on Monday.  Hope it is only for 3 months.  After you finish your machines, I got a few you can mess around with  :24: :24: You know just to keep up your practice ! :rotfl:
