the documentation for model 742A-92T is on

the m-220-* file defines the reel tapes for a few machines. The 92T used the -248 thru -250 tapes, so you can compare to your reel tapes and see if the symbols are the same.
the p-484-* file has the slot depths for the index discs. If you search the forum for "reference hole" there's more info on slot depths and reel tape alignment, but the short answer is if you index the reel into a position with the shallowest slot, that should be a cherry and the wipers should be position on the CH columns of rivets in the below image.
note the diagram below is looking at the wiring side of the contact plate and is NOT the correct wiring/wiper layout for your machine (don't have that diagram), but which line of rivets the contacts land on is the same.
in other words, your index discs (assuming they are 242, 243 and 244) have 9 possible slot depths and the diagram below has the 1-9 columns of rivets that correspond to those slots.
