Need some florescent tubes

I need some florescent tubes for my S+
Up here in Canada they are not selling this size anymore I think I can get starters, but if you have some laying about pls quote.

It was suggested that I tape LED strips over my burnt out tubes and yes it works but it looks different, and I am not prepared to do it for 3x bulbs per slot, and I have 4 units. Is there a more drop in solution ?

What is the size type on the tube?

If it looks different you're most probably using the wrong color temperature e.g. cool white instead of warm white (or neutral white if warm is too yellow). Cool white LEDs normally have a "blue" light output which is why they look so much different, whereas fluorescent bulbs are more yellow, although still a lot closer to white than incandescent bulbs.

I prefer to find Sylvania if they are available. I have ok luck with Feit but I did get bulbs that would not start one time. If you cannot order Fluorescent, there are a number of sellers on ebay who sell that bulb in LED, I use them and they often have a switch on the side to determine cool or warm. Our local Home Depot even had them one time.

You should be able to get f15t8 at lowes. They stock them, 39 in stock at Sunridge, 83 at Crossiron.
For the leds, there are different temperatures available, as well as different brightness.

Are they 18" ? 
When I measured mine its 15" to the glass, if you include the metal caps at the end its 16"  - I didn't include the knobs that hook in to the electrical holders.

I like the F15T8/D. (daylight) They look more like LEDs than the CWs. (D=6200K vs CW=4100K) I buy them by the box.

F14t8 were used in some chop top igames. They are around 14.75 to 15". I only remember these in the top box.

The reason I asked is that the ones Lowe’s sell are 18”

F15t8 are approximately 17.75" between the ends of the pins

Look at your old bulbs they should have the number on them.  F15T8 is standard for s2000 and s+ uprights.  S+ intermediate cabs may be shorter, never had one.

Just bought a couple LED replacements on amazon, All different lengths available. Even the 12in for my reel touch top box. They work great. A lot less heat.

When you say replacement, do you need to change anything other than the bulb ?

For the record the tubes are 18" they measure from tip to tip, I picked up a few at HomeDepot along with the starters.

 No they use the existing ballast. Install and go. Nice clean light.
