audio problem (hope im in the right tread)

got this game a year ago plays fine  problem is in menu i can set sounds for game play and test it/ will play each sound bit i select/// but in actual game play there is no sound no coin in or pay out or  win u hit a pay line///  wondering if the chips on sound board are in right place,,,,

any info would help   thanx guys for ur time

The sound EPROMS are in the correct sockets.  I can't make out the numbers on any of the chips in the photo to tell you if they're the correct ones for your game software.  Did it work before?

Thanks.  Can you post the ones on the MPU board too?  The ones I need look like they have hand written labels on them.

these ?   i found the same sound board on ebay  went ahead and orderd it just in case these are right sound chips  thanx for all ur help

Thanks.  All your software is good.  Your game should have the basic sounds even without the sound board installed on it.  Have you checked the sound settings to make sure they aren't turned all the way down?  Press the self test button on the MPU, then touch SETUP-->Machine Options-->Sound Setup.

Yea I’ve gotten into the sound settings  I can pick a particular sound test the sound save the sound to certain parts of the game like payout for the coin sound  and nothing happens after you get save it and get out of the Settings menu makes no sound while playing or adding money or paying out or on a big win or Any win.  I ordered another soundboard in case something is wrong with that one. I’m gonna try it. Thanks for all your help. I’ll let you know what happens.

You ordered on ebait when there are many folks here (same ones who are helping you) that would have them for sale if you asked and probably much cheaper? There is a classified section right here.

I would have sold you one with sw46s already installed for $3 plus cost of shipping.

You should have all the basic sounds like deal, coin-in, coin out, roll-up, etc even without the sound card installed.
