I would like to Thank Denny (stupid) and Diana (with Stupid) LoL. For Everything and the Hard work they did to Cook and Get everything together for this meet together For the NLG members. The Food was GREAT. and a great time to meet some of the members that came. Its was nice to meet some of the members that I have talked to through the years. Jim (The Rockin Elvis ) That sang a few Acapella Elvis hits and Gave us all a FREE CD of His and his wife Debbie a Super Person to chat with . FORD what a Great guy to Chat with and talked about Old times and brought a Super Nice Cake Yummy . FAT MAN Dave , Who is not Fat anymore and needs to change his name to SLIM.. Lol . He was Really cooking up Those Clams.... What GREAT Weather for this. Thank You Again Denny and Diana For Having Us.. Like I Always Said.. If You Miss A Day, You'll Miss A Lot.... And You Sure DiD.. John

OK, more photos.  Man, you guys that missed this just lost a special day in your life.  Great Food and great folks.  Had about 21 folks signed up, but only about 10 or 11 made it.  Everybody got the "1st Annual Get Together" tee shirt and Jim (Elvis) handed out his CD (this is fantastic - this guy is GREAT - what a talent !!) and bottles of wine, not to mention Dave (The Fatman) clams and Fords cake and John's Fruit and so much more.  Photos on the way

I just want to say it was my honor and pleasure to host this "Get Together".  The day was beautiful and the friends were great. Thanks to Ford and Dave and Jim and John and their ladies and friends.  I really look forward to next year and already putting together ideas for next years tee shirt.  Thanks everybody, you made it a great day !! :applause:   :cool_thumb_up:

Thanks for posting your other photos you guys.  Too bad more of the other people couldn't make it, but at least it was a start.  Look forward to having more people next year.  It was a beautiful day poolside and many members have now become friends also.  Nice time, thanks again everyone !

I am happy that all went well.  The pictures show that a good time was indeed had by all.  What a perfect weather day it was too.  Hats off to the wonderful hosts and all of the participants.  I  understand from some of the real old timers that there were many more shows and events on the east coast years ago. With the passage of time reportedly these gatherings have all petered out.   We needed something like this. I was excited even though I knew that I would not be able to attend.   If God grants me another year then my plan is to be there at the next one.
