Saturday Night Live - slot machine, not complete San Diego

I just drove an hour and fifteen minutes to look at this. The guy on the phone didn't understand my questions so I just drove there.
I had asked him clearly if there was a metal rectangular box right in front, when you open the door (the MPU) and he said yes.
Sadly... when I opened the door... no MPU. The reel strips are off but there and it appears to have the power supply and motherboard. I couldn't really see inside the top box... it has one unlocked lock and the other was locked. Still this might be a great parts machine or one for someone to fix up. I always wanted an impossible-to-get WOF machine and this one would have been GREAT had it been complete.

I could not see your pic very well but you prob. should have bought it as my memory serves me they made just handfulls of those.  Software may or maynot be a issue at this time.  I just remeember conversations with other vendors in the long ago past.

That's the crappy picture from Craigslist. I probably should have taken one when I was there. Also the belly glass was cracked but still intact.
I offered $100 but then I changed my mind, but I'm not sure if they would have taken it or not. I could hear the guy at the place talking to a "higher up" person in an office.

It is a Bally 6000 top of the top.  I know Jim -Bettor has good knowledge of these.  Even if the chips where available it would enhance the deal-the mpu is nothing.  My suggestion is when you see Rare games such as this mostly complete--get them -esp. for that price.  Will only increase in value.  That was a special top they used on that one--don't see them often at all.

Well, --Oh well!.  Perhaps you could go back and get it?.  It is a Iconic time-capsule machine,  Very collectable. Remember as time goes by parts and pieces always show up so it is a waiting game and patience game at that point.  Excuse my spelling.
