new Hopper does not work (NON REVERSIBLE HOPPER INSTALLED)

Hi,

my igt risque business machine was without Hopper and coin comparitor, so
i bought the next package http://www.spininc.com/73650-0

Coin comparitor works well, but Hopper does not work.
I get the following message when i push hopper test button...

NON REVERSIBLE HOPPER INSTALLED
HOPPER MOTION DETECTION NOT CONFIGURED
TILT STATUS: EMPTY

Please help,
what I can do

I have read many topics related to this issue, but
i have not received information does this "bad hopper" means that it's broken or
or otherwise unsuitable for this machine???

Shall Hopper something to sound when the machine starts?
My hopper does not do anything....

Can i somehow test hopper?      directly to the power and I/O lines???

You can try putting 24v directly to the motor stabs and see if it turns but first thing you should do is spin the little gear on the end of the motor shaft by hand to see if the gear box runs and the pin wheel turns. If it is very difficult to turn or won't turn at all you may have a glob of dried up grease in the gearbox. I've disassembled them before, cleaned out the old grease with WD40 and regreased. I also may have an extra motor/gearbox assembly laying around if it comes to that. Would require a donation to NLG to get it though

Thanks for the answer.

When i spin motor by hand it run well,
   but I opened the engine and the gearbox still
and switch the engine without a load to a power source and I noticed that the engine really takes a lot of power

Current 1.68A when voltage is 7.1V  so the motor is broken, but what is the right type of motor, the other side of motor reads only JOHNSON nothing else???

Are you sure that's an Igame/S2000 assembly? I don't recall IGT using metal housings on the gearboxes after the S+ platform. Here is what the ones I have look like. Maybe I have bad information

we have a lot of I games with same hoppers   bet he has a bad motor think for  $125 they would check it before they shipped it

   I opened the motor, checked and cleaned the brushes and also fix
slip ring surface.

Now motor take 0.20A when voltage is 24V, still need to assemble Hopper and hope that it works...

we have a lot of I games with same hoppers   bet he has a bad motor think for  $125 they would check it before they shipped it

   I will contact the seller and ask for a refund...

Now is the Hopper assembled, and it works like a dream, but it seems that all one has to do yourself even if you buy a working product.
