error 65 3 ???

I have two s+ machines one works and the other doesn't , the  cpu board was missing for the none working machine but I have a couple to try in it but when I put the working board from the working slot in it it comes up with a 65 3 ? Can any one tell me what this is? Thanks

The 65-3 press the white test button and close the door. If it changes to 61 press test button until 61-1 then close door and turn reset key.

The S+ Error Document in the link says use reset KEY not BUTTON?

I have to admit that what I looked at showed 65-1 or 65-2 as press self test switch for 1 second to clear. I thought I had 65-3 as being the same. Ros has many more years experience than me and I have learned so much from her.

Just didn't want to confuse anyone. The Error Cause/Remedy doc linked is a great tool and every S+ owner should tuck a copy away somewhere. That being said, if the error does not resolve using the method listed, it could indicate something else is the issue. The list shows how to clear errors (and the most common causes) on otherwise fully working machines.

Elvis- No worries, simple mistake when 90% of the errors are resolved by either the JP key or the self test button!

Yeah it took me a while to figure it out too. It's a little confusing sometimes.
