Thanks for the help!  Can you give me an idea what pictures are still required?

nothing required, but if you email the hi-res versions of the pics in post #15, that'd be great.

your slotted metal index discs are correct for a model 1072, but the reels are installed on the shaft in the wrong order.  They should be 717-720 in left-to-right order.  Ya just need to remove E-clips and slide off the reels to rearrange things.

hopefully nobody removed the index discs and installed them on the wrong reels, but I do have the docs to verify.  The index discs determine the payouts, and the reel tapes with the symbols need to match the index discs and be mounted correctly.  All that is solvable without too much effort tho.

you're looking for a 25c hopper whose base plate is a little less than 6.5 inches wide so it slides between the rails mounted on your cabinet floor.  Width = when looking at the front of the hopper with the handle for pulling it out.

ideally you want a payout disc that supports 3,5,10,14,18, 150 and 200 pays like the attached diagram (the A trace is 200 pay or could be cut to make it 200), but those are quite a bit less common and you may have to take what you can get on the hopper and live with some incorrect pays until you find a correct disc.

you almost certainly will need to do some hopper plug rewiring.

I have a 22/22 for sale and can include a curve screen.  PM if interested.

In Las Vegas for the next few days. I am very interested in your Gremlins machine

Thanks so much, I think I will get a 22/22 and look into the curve thing you mentioned.  What do I need to do that and is there any assistance/suggestions you have for that piece?  What does it entail?

So I have this nCompass Screen and matching box below.  It actually works and displays stuff a casino would show on the little screen.  I'd like to do something different with this since I know it works, has anyone hacked or created an alternate Linux OS for the CF card?  Anything I can do with this?  That screen is quite nice.

Would you have a spare MPU to try?

I ordered a replacement MPU from Spin, might be here this week.  I went ahead and bought the 1ghz MPU for the MPU rather than the 300mhz one like I currently have.

There are three different standard top box sizes on S2000. Which do you have?  Your pic is cut off.

Sorry, should have included that (I updated the request)... 16" Top glass.

Glad to help. Those 1492’s are well worth keeping around, they usually have a lot of screen burn but you can’t see it when the game is in play.
You also cannot discount the technician who did the work! They are scary to work on the first time.
