Help with clearing an IGame tilt
« on: September 03, 2016, 07:37:05 PM »
Its been awhile since I have worked on an I Game and being forget full doesn't help. I have a I Game that has the
following pending tilts- coin-in Jam , meter disconnected and options verification required. There is no coin mechanism
on the machine, I checked the meter connection looks good. I thought there was a clear tilt option under set-ups but
couldn't find it . I ran a key 22 clear but tilt still shows up. Any help appreciated.

Thanks  Dan :thank_you:

Those tilts are generally associated with your IO card(s)

Hey Dan,

Good to see you back again!  The Coin-in jam along with Meter's disconnected error messages indicate that that there is a problem with the SENET bus.  It can be a I/O card issue like Cowboygames said, or a problem with the MPU board. Try reseating/swapping the I/O cards, and if that doesn't work check out U74 on the MPU board.  It's near the sound card connector, and sometimes shows signs of physical damage if bad.  If you have another MPU board change it out. One of those three will most likely solve the problem.

He does have a couple of working I Games ill try swapping those boards out. What about verifying the options,
I chose denomination, printer enable , hopper disable etc. shouldn't that have cleared that option?? It has been
awhile but its great to see this site is still up and running. I would be lost without everyone's help.

One other question can a power supply from a s2000 be used in a I Game. the s2000 is a 9003 the I Game has a 9002 in them

 :thank_you: Dan

Yes you can put the put the S2000 PS in the I-game.  Not sure if you're asking that question for this machine or not, but if your machine boots up to this point the power supply is most likely not the problem.

The option verification required is an informational message.  When the two hard errors (Meters disconnected and Coin-in jam) clear there will be an OK box on the screen that you touch and the message will go away.

Thanks tilt. He has 2 machines down one with the power supply the other with the tilt errors. I'm glad to see a lot of familiar names
are still on the forum.

Options verification required might indicate that your options have defaulted. Without knowing your setup I can't recommend anything to check there, other than if you don't have a coin comparitor, and it's been re-enabled in your settings, you'll have to keychip and disable to.  Also, CIJ and Meter disconnect can likewise point to an unseated or bad processor I/O card.
