Most, if not all, of my slot games use the Hold buttons as "number of credits per line"—in other words, the far-left Hold button bets 1 credit times number of lines played, and the far-right Hold button bets 5 credits times number of lines played.

I noticed that in some games, the bets for each Hold button is different, depending on the game configuration—for example, the far-right Hold button might bet 10 credits per line.
