Triple diamond problem
« on: May 06, 2017, 08:29:03 PM »
Hi, I was playing the machine earlier and it worked fine. Now I'm getting closure m, door open b, call attendent. The belly is closed . The latch is down all the way. Batt. Is good. When I lift up the latch I get door open mb only. Same when I pull the crossed over plug on the belly and I've turned it on and off a few times . Could the board be going bad. I did get 4 traces repaired and it worked fine. I pulled the board out and all traces that were repaired are connected  solid. Any ideas what I could try would greatly be apreaceated.  Thank you...

Sorry but I don't know the sequence on how to get you there but in section 4 under nexplex devices .. go to the bill validator section ..  tell the machine to  look for the BV and it let you know if it is installed .. if installed it should work.

Could be a bad board. But can't hurt to try stuff first.

Hi, yea there was a little damage,  I fixed it . I had to jump and run 3 wires cause of the damage . May be a no the part of the board is  failing again. it ran good till now . I checked all that was fixed and it seems to be solid. Could this be possibly  happening. Thank you

Yes it is a common problem on the 500 boards I have seen some with no visible trace damage that have the door open B or M issue.
