Haywire Deluxe lights

Anybody know what light is on the Haywire Deluxe in the blue strip on the left side of the 25 cents light?? The right of the 25 cent sign is INSERT COIN.. I got new bulbs and holders but the left side doesn't light up and I haven't seen anything on this topic anywhere.. Thanks

The following will be good for you to go thru so you learn more about your machine. Your mpu board software has some built-in diagnostic tests, it isn't hard to use and will let you check many things on your machine quickly.

Below are the IGT S+ Troubleshooting Flip Cards that explain all of the various tests. There are 14 cards assembled with 2 per page in the pdf file below. On card #6 is the S+ Outputs test. It will let you check all of the lights on the machine (except the fluorescent lights). This verifies the bulb, the bulb holder, the lighting board the bulb is installed into, the wiring harness going to the lighting board, etc. It's a good way to see that all is ok with the various lights.

It's an S+, based on his other discussion thread about the machine, has SP and SS chips on mpu.

Here are his photos from the other thread showing the lamp board just below the reel glass. If I'm looking at it right the lamp board looks a little browned just above the bulb holder he is referring to. May have a broken board trace or bad connection, maybe a burned resistor (probably not any resistors on that simple lamp board).

I will definitely read and use those flip cards, great info,,, I decided to shin a flash light thru the hole and there was my sign, er coin accepted,, lol thx
