S2000 Attract mode settings

   S2000 Attract mode set to 0001             what do these numbers mean 0001       1x per hour     comes on every 1min ??

When a machine enters idle mode without credits accumulated, a random attract sound is played one time. This number means the amount of time in minutes before the sound is played.

This menu is only displayed if you have a Multimedia Lite board installed.

it is set to 001  but it only comes on once ,       1 min after game ends and 0 credits
it played 3 or 4 times a hour before

Correction....  the sound comes on one time for SG000363 chips. It might differ with other game (GME) chips. What chip are you running ?

My source of information is the Program Summary Report for S2000 SG000363 which lists the menu options and states the attract sound plays once. I couldn't find any information on your SG000362 chip.

I have several machines with attract sound but I'm not sure if it plays only once or repeats periodically. I'll check it out. Maybe someone else can help ?

The sound will play one time unless you press any key on the deck with zero credits, then it will wait the delay time set and play it again.  It will do it every time after a button is pressed as long as the attract mode is turned on and there are zero credits.

qbert nailed it!  Exactly how all our S2000's work.  We usually leave credits on the machines, it gets a bit quiet with nobody playing.
