CC-16 D Coin Comparitor only dimes fit?
« on: May 11, 2019, 10:57:56 AM »
Well I did the clear chip and the set chip and every thing went exactly as described but I just figured out the coin comparitor only accepts dimes and a dime triggers a credit, do I need to change the spacer or make my own spacer? Was the machine switched to dime? Wondering why the optics would accept a dime as credit. see pictures

Also the BV set went well and I set it for 25 but the BV will not take money and the light is not lit, the BV does cycle when the machine is turned on but that is it.

I was hoping to have it running tonight with friends and beers......I forgot the pick up 500 quarters at the bank today.lol

Thanks,
Scott

Tried the set chip again , still no lights or buttons but the BV is working, now its a change machine, 1 dollar in and it spits out 4 quarters.

Try pressing the cash/credit button one time right before you insert the bill.

Look in this S+ section for 1271 or 1274 settings. They are close on most SP chips. You can make all wins, and money go to credits. Plus raise the credit limit and BV limit
Thank Ya Thank Ya Very Much.

If you don't want to have to press the cash/credit button to get into credit mode again, do the following:
with no credits on machine set 5 to 5_0 and 8 to 8_1.  I like the SP1271 so I can set the credit limit to 9999 and hopper limit to 1000 (or less)
