Dear community

I tried to change the denomination on my Pink Panther. After a proper ram clear procedure, after booting the display tells me: bill door open.
The switch of the cashbox is already bypassed, the optics on the main door seems to working fine, the belly door switch as well.
On the I/O (processor) menu i can observe a changing 0/1 for the main door, the bill val door (?) remains on 0.
What the heck is wrong?
Any help is highly appreciated  :thank_you:

Kind regards from switzerland

Reseat the cash box and make sure it is locked in place.
Also try removing and reseating the bill validator assembly.

Hi

Thank for the fast reply.

Update: I found informations concerning bill door and NiCa battery in a older post.

And yes i found corroded traces underneath and around U83, one was broken, i soldered it and (hey) the bill door issue is gone.

There are now other messages showing, like COM LINK failure.

I will investigate a little more and (i'm sure) and have to ask further questions in a new post.

Thanks to qbert and all other that are started to think about it.

Kind regards

Marino
