I have just repaired a 1982 Bally E-2000 series (model 2275) and it appears to work very well except no sound, which I think I can troubleshoot and fix.
Sadly, while cleaning it, I managed to accidentally damage the thin paint that is on the inside of the top glass in several places. I may try to touch it up, but fear that I will only make it worse. Does anyone know of any place where i can look for a replacement top glass in mint condition? It's a 5 cent, 3 line, slot (see attached photo).
Edit: Its January 25th and no responses, plus I have had no luck searching for this exact glass. I have created an image of the graphic on my PC and I'm going to attempt to make a new glass, using that graphic ink-jet printed on a water slide decal. Since the glass is about 19" wide, it will take two sheets. Might not be ideal, but it's worth a shot.
