No Sound

Not too often I'm stumped. Got a machine in with horrible varta damage. Changed the 502 and kept getting close the door. Checked optics then gave up and did bypass. Still had Close the Door. After searching everywhere finally found the 6 pin optic/speaker plug out of the MB. Clipped it in and door is now closed. Everything going pretty well but no sound. Volumes are up and sound is on. I tried a spare sound board. Guessing this is why 6 pin was unplugged. Next thing is my limits. When I try to enter limits menu it says something like coinless mode disabled limits. (can't remember exact wording). I am guessing I will need to change the MB for sound. Can't set BV limit, or Credit limit. Never had a machine give wamm/ipt error. Set it to wamm?

Change over to 363s and do a ram clear/key chip

I had a problem once with some SG chips asking for WAMM...threw them in the garbage.

They have security tape so bad, can't read them. Will change to 363's. Plan on converting to vision. Always make everything work first

   Vision machines are somewhat rare in working order now a days... Owning 16 of them is absolutly AWESOME. I had a "Wild Cherry Pie" Vision when I used to live in Arizona. Really miss it.  :applause:

There were 362's in it. Changed to 363's still no sound. Change the MB and now have great sound. Must be why the door and speaker plug was removed from MB

So...the amp, MMLB, & speakers were okay.
Sounds like maybe a bad sound chip driver on the MB?
