Vision Round Top "Glass" need suggestions!

So I want a few more Top "glass" for my vision.. but we all know it is almost impossible to find. I have designed some things before for a few people on here and need suggestions.. I'm thinking about having a piece of acrylic cut to the shape of a roundtop vision glass and then having my graphics printed on maybe vellum and laminated so that it will stick to the acrylic.. I mean all the top glass is just a piece of glass with a sticker on the back of it that sticks to the glass.  ANyone ever printed anything like this before??

This is my first one which is not exactly to size yet. I have to measure exactly where the window is for the Vision side mount and size

I've considered doing this for the belly glass as well. You could easily make a whole custom theme. (Assuming you are the creative type)


If I ever do this, I would get two pieces cut, of slightly thinner plexiglass (or whatever) and simply trap the graphics between the two sheets. 


This would make it easier to replace, swap or change in the future.

I was looking at a product called dura lar. It is self adhesive like laminating but without heat. It suppose to protect documents and such and pictures so I was thinking about covering the print out with this material

I have already made a complete kit for I Dream Of Jeannie. Mirror printed on monomeric vinyl to stick behind the glass. Selective white on some parts and for the rollers the area must remain transparent.

For the VFD of blue without selective white. Same for credit counters with red.
