IGT AVP G23 LCD buttons

Hi guys....looking for half a dozen buttons for an IGT AVP G23. :sherlock:

If you have some for sale or know of a source where I can buy some...please let me know?

I need one of those black/green ribbon cables too...I think for a 10-button deck.

Trying to get this puppy working like it should!  :yes:

If the machine is a G23 it uses a 14 button ribbon cable and the edge lit buttons are expensive if you can find good ones

Thanks...I actually saw that...I didn't know TJ was selling AVP parts.


I have a ribbon cable coming!

Don't need the EdgeLit LCD Buttons.....I fixed it.

Rubbed a white eraser on the ribbon board contacts that connects between the TWO circuit boards inside the button itself! Nutz!!

Button is working perfect now!

Amazing amount of parts for one fricken button...wow!

You probably already know this, but I'll say it for anyone else reading this topic. :)

Never do ANYTHING with that ribbon cable when powered on - don't even touch it.  :arrowthruhead:

haha...I know! That is the worse design I've ever seen.

Why they're using a hard plastic rather than a softer material is beyond me.
That's only going to get brittle and crack with time and it snaps in/out like a mouse trap!

Yeah, it's a horrible design. The connectors aren't really the problem, but it's highly suspeptable to shorts. All it takes is for your forearm or hand to come close to it with the power on to short it out. Trust me, speaking from experience. hahaha
