IGT Type23 S+Double Wild 3CM with Mystery Reels in an S2000

I decided to try this Type23  S+ game called Double Wild 3CM in an S2000, loaded with an SB001000 chip and a set of SG363's.
The game's Type 23 "Mystery Reel Action" works perfectly.
I have no idea why it works  :Scratch-Head: because the SS chip requires a Type23 SP chip when installed in an S+.
Has anyone ever tried this Type23 in an S2000 before?

Triple dollars mystery reel action works too, also a type 23.  Type 19 game Mag7 is the one I can't get to work on s2000.

okay cool...That's good to hear SCM!
I didn't know that you've tried a Type23 chip before.  :cool_thumb_up:
I'm going to take a wild guess that somehow there are several Type's written into the SB001000 program, but for some reason they skipped the Type19 and perhaps some others?
Gunna try some more experimenting...lol

I have run that game in an S2000 before without issue. SG000363 and 598 both support type 23.

Blasphemy guys ..... save the S+ games for the S+ platform.......

This is like putting disc brakes on a Model T .... have some respect for history......   :stirthepot:

On a serious note I am really pleased to see that IGT has carried forward support for all of the older games
... now if we could only get Playstation to do that without selling you the same games over and over.

363s & 598s are supposed to support type19 games also but mag7 will not work.

Oh I am with you..... love tinkering with these.
One of our original members Cactus Jack (Reinhard) upgraded a PE+ to be a Game King in the cabinet.
I have hacked my cabinets to add in progressive displays on the player tracking bars.....
I modified the mikohn chip to drive a 18' double high sign.  It started its life as a circular can that hangs from the roof and was 8' single high.
Interesting enough the chip was set to support 10 panels ... so I modified it to 9 panels x 2 with double height lettering.
This stuff is bullet proof.

I have however decided to sell my house and downsize a bit..... home prices are going crazy in the city but I don't think thats going to last.
So move the contents of the home to storage, live in our condo for a bit while the market softens in the summer and leave the cash in the bank and buy something smaller in the fall.
Its going to be sad dismantling the games room.
