WTB SB100055 chip, I think, for S2000 Haywire (And maybe backlit strips, too?)

SO I'm trying to use my S plus Haywire! kit (with SS 4079 or SS 4080) and, though I'm using SB1000 (and have followed the instructions on NLG), I keep getting an error: "SS EPROM INVALID -0xF011."  In researching on NLG.org, It appears that some folks are saying just to get SB100055 chip for the S2000 Haywire.  So - I guess that's what I need.  Let me know if you happen to have that for sale - I'll actually need 2.

Also, if they exist, I might as well get one set of S2000 backlit reel strips for Haywire! since I read that I'll have to slice a piece off of the S plus strips to make them fit in the S2000.  So let me know if you have those available, too.

Finally, if anyone has any guesses on how to get this to work as is, I'd appreciate it.  Though I continue to read that it doesn't make any difference, I have stepper game chips SG129.

SB001000 is correct. 100055 will not work. Where is your SS chip? (not installed in the pic posted). SS chip needs to be 120ns or faster to use in a S2000. I have never seen backlit strips for the Haywire theme. Do yourself a favor & update your SG chips to SG000363.

Right - the SS chip is not shown in the photo - but I have installed three separate SS chips and they all end up giving the same error.  I don't know what speed any of the three are.  And I'd be happy to update to SG000363 - so please add that to the list of things I need to buy.

Yes it will give you that message if the chip is too slow. Also your S plus strips will fit on non backlit S2000 reels without having to trim them. I see a Double Diamond strip in one of your pics. You can turn a single line DD into a DD Haywire by using a Double Jackpot Haywire SS chip along with a SB001000.

I might add that your SS chip installs all the way to the left in the SS socket. It's a 28 pin chip but a 32 pin socket.

The kit in the machine now is a Double Diamond 5 line kit - I'm taking that kit out and want to put another kit in.  But I do have a Double Diamond S plus kit that will fit into the machine.  The question is, if I use the Double Jackpot Haywire SS chip along with the SB001000, will the pay glass that I have for the Double Diamond glass still be accurate?  It's a 3CM kit - so, for example, on a 3 coin bet, if 7 7 7 is hit, it pays 240 coins per the glass.  If I use the Double Jackpot Haywire SS chip and hit the 7 7 7, will it, too, pay 240 coins (on a 3 coin bet)?  And, if so, and it goes "haywire," will it pay an additional 240 coins each time it "haywires?" 


Love the idea of making an "every day" kit into a haywire kit.

Yes DD & DJH pays are the same for 2C & 3C. Haywires will repeat the winning combo.
