what does this phrase mean?

i bought two s plus games. they both say move to payline when below payline, and move to payline when above payline.  are they nudge games or does that mean something else. i havent gotten them working yet.

On a 4th of July machine it means the reel will nudge in the direction the missle is pointing. Up, if the missle is pointing up and below the payline and Down, if the missle is pointing down and one space above the payline. They have no other meaning

Yes.  Look closely at the symbol graphics next to the text you were talking about -- you'll see that there's a difference between the symbols that will nudge up to the payline and the ones that nudge down.
