Game King Bettor TITO, Key Chip 28, EEPROM Device Error HELP!
« on: October 08, 2016, 11:36:02 AM »
Have Game King 6.2 with 044 board.  Ordered Bettor TITO and Key Chip 28.  Carefully removed game chip, attached Bettor TITO, placed key chip 28 in and replaced board.  Key chip menu came up with all 3 options but the touch screen would not work to clear RAM or enable keychip (because touch screen would not work).  Re- powered a couple of times.  Same result touch screen would not work on keychip menu.  So I removed Bettor TITO device, put game chip back in and powered back up and it goes through start up then I get CALL ATTENDANT screen.  I Turn reset key and after a few seconds EEPROM DEVICE ERROR  0X10000004 COMES UP with a few other things listed in box below error;  and at bottom it says verify changes turn jackpot key to reset.  After doing that the CALL ATTENDANT screen comes back up. This just repeats. HELP!

I have seen that repeating CALL ATTENDANT happen when there is a mismatch between the EPROM on the motherboard and the MPU (for example if you just swapped the MPU out with a different game installed, but didn't do a RAM clear).  It almost sounds to me like your RAM clear worked, or partially worked.  The repeating CLEAR ATTENDANT will probably go away when you are able to clear the RAM (using both RAM clear options).

As for the touch screen not working on the key chip menu, I have no idea, hopefully somebody else can help.
