Igt s2000. 5x pay. And cigar slot. Batter low.

I have  a igt 5 times pay and a cigar slot.   battery low error.   I know how to replace the battery but what chip set do I need  to get it working.   do the 97 and 17 chip work for theses?   I was told on igt site these were the clear and set chip . .  do I need to clear?  should the setting still be there?  I am really new to this

No you don't have to clear. After you change the battery Open the main door, alarm will sound, turn jackpot reset key 3 times, hold reset button in on the MPU by the LED lights for 3 seconds and close the door.

Thank you. I will try this. I bought the cr2032 battery holder toand the cr2032 battery. going to try this tomorrow. 


When would you need to use the 97 and 17 chips?

Only if you had a problem that would not clear with the normal procedures. Set is for changing denomination and progressives etc.

Cigar machine worked now 5 times pay machine no buttons will work it except money and shows credit what could be the problem. no lights on buttons either

Got it workimg. wiggled all the button connections. was a loose wire .  thank you for your post
