S2000 Netplex Stand Alone Progressive Display Board Setup
« on: February 11, 2018, 03:54:46 PM »

Hi
Well I purchased a Netplex Progressive Display, Attached it to the top box, Plugged the 2 connectors into the Netplex board, it comes on with a scroll "No Data".
Now, can anyone tell me when I get into the key chip under Progressive, what the correct settings are to be, to get this thing set up? I have the game set for .25, .50, & 1.00 multi denom. Also if I wanted it to scroll a message instead of a $ amt, can it be set up that way or even alternate message & amt. This is the first time I'm messing with these progressive screens, hope someone can help me out.
                                                                     Thanks Much  Dirtguy

Key the machine, enter the [7 Key Chip Config] menu and enter values for the four items. Your stand alone progressive should now work.

7.3 Progressive
   7.3.3 Stand Alone Setup
     7.3.3.1 Level 1
(Enter values for the following)
Limit Amount:
Base Amount:
Add Percentage:
Current Amount:

Can you view the Progressive setup menu as in the previous message ?   If not, your program pay table might not support progressive awards.

If the menu is visible, set the values. They can be anything you want.

Limit Amount:  Maximum progressive amount (I set mine to $1000000)
Base Amount:  The reset amount. When jackpot is paid, the progressive will reset to this amount. I made mine equal to the max. standard award.
Add Percentage:  The amount of play money you want awarded to the progressive. I set a high percentage (50.00%) so I can see rapid growth of the progressive award.
Current Amount:  I set mine to $2000

No message capability on netplex type.  You would have to go back to the Mikhon stand alone type that your original display came from in order to put up a message along with the jackpot payout amount.

OK
So I did everything I was supposed to do. Had to set level 1 for all three denoms. Then I hit 7. 3.2 Progressive Display -None- or Video Didn't know which to pick so I picked video. Then I finally got to where to enter the limits. I did that, got out of the key, no data still displayed. Sat down looked at post qbert gave, read that and saw I needed to go into menu 4.3 Auto Config Netplex Devices as a final step , and now I am up and running.THANKS GUYS!  Now I have to figure out how to remove the wooden box on the glass without it breaking
