Eprom not cleared

Hi all!


I have a problem clearing eprom settings on my Bally Game Maker V7000.
If i enable dipswitch 1 - 7&8, saferam is clear but i have the screenshot attachment.
It recaps old settings but i cannot change it.


I have a Clear P10 but it changed nothing.
On my Mpu, i can clear, add new games without P10 chips, only with dipswitch.


Any ideas?

To clear EEPROM and safe RAM turn on 6,7, and 8, that clears previous settings.

To clear just safe RAM and retain previous settings only turn on switch 8.

Please Keyswitch to continue

Running Saferam Pattern Test
Warning, Saferam is being erased

Please reset Dip Switches
Please remove clear chip
Please restart machine

...Still cant change settings...
Other ideas ?

Have you cleared it before successfully with the P10 clear chip or is this the first time?
Do any of your chips say “united game” on them?

In fact with or without P10 chip the behaviour described previously is exactly the same.


I can setup all games without any pb, except that initial configuration door is optic and i have a V7000, so i have to switch because there is an error « door open »


Thats why i posted my pb because i cannot change eprom settings...


And no « united games »

The previous info is stored in the EEPROM.
You should get safe RAM clearing then EEPROM clearing.

If the EEPROM does not clear you can't change the settings.

DEBUG maybe?

I bought the Debug Clear P10 from JJSLots on ebay.
And yes, i don't understand why the eeprom is not clearing...


Maybe is it due to a special version or corrupted chips main ?
Version is : V7M10000D5204-23 and V7M4000D5204-23
