Got 88 error.....replaced Batts.....installed permanent u23 and u48 chips.... Clear went as expected, using #8 button on dip1.....got the CHC and CLC......was able to set date.....during the count down from 11d to 27d it never makes it past 19d......just keeps trying over and over......What's up?

Check the 5V output on your power supply. Those games tend to hiccup if that voltage is not, at least, 5.16 Volts DC.
There is a small adjustment on the power supply to set the5 volts.
Let them that don't want any, have memories of not getting any.

OK....I only have module 2 manual which focuses mainly on programming......I have no idea where to check the +5 vdc.....any help?

Thanks for the power supply attachment......I did not check as it instructed (running jumpers, etc.)...... I followed 5vdc & ground coming out of far left connector, up to the back pane PCB and checked them going into that circuit board..... They both show at 5.2 volts.......

Ya, I really need to redact that some day. The jumpers on the right were if the supply was removed and on my bench.
If so, I also built a load bank to plug into the left to test the supply under full rated load.

while 19d kept cycling, close door, let reels cycle, open door, hit test til 11d comes up and it went into 27 for set up functions.....that has worked that way successfully several times.PROBLEM SOLVED
