Can you RESET Reel Counters on a IGT S+ machine ?

My reel counters don't tick or add any more counts.... Is there a way to make these work again? and is there a way to reset the counters to start from 000000?

 This is just my opinion. It would be easier and cheaper to just replace them with new ones. For home use most are not concerned about them.


 Now, for true story. When I worked for a gaming company we actually had an employee sit at a station and manually click the meters back to 0's.

Any ideas on where to buy new ones?

The ones I've seen were sealed pretty tight, would probably crack the housing to open it up. But maybe different models of machines used some that could be gotten into without damaging them.

If ALL of your meters are not working then maybe someone installed some kind of a meter bypass so they won't click - some people hate the noise and defeat the meters so they stay quiet.

First thing I do is unplug them loud annoying counters from the motherboard.  Check to see if they are unplugged.

yeah, it would be rare for all the counters/meters to stop working, so probably someone did something to stop them from getting activated. The S+ may not have a loop-thru circuit for the machine to detect if a meter is disconnected, if not then would be easy to silence them.
