I need to replace the male plug going to J-10 on the mother board of an older IGT S-Plus game. I don't know what these wiring plugs are called and where to get one. Does anyone know the name of this plug so I can try asking a few electronic suppliers if they have one. I have the crimps and ends and such, but this plug is deformed on this machine and will not lock down as it is, and I think this is causing me intermittent door optic failure. I just need one, but were to get it?
Thanks

I believe that those are called SENET plugs if I’m not mistaken.

Another option would be to buy another wiring cable to replace the one that has the deformed connector. Someone that sells parts for IGT S+ machines, especially if they part-out older machines, might have the entire wiring cable.

Well....This will wrinkel few noises, but i have come up with an idea to just fix this. I’ll pull
One and two which are the optic connections and slip the wires under the mother board and solder
Them right on to the back side of pins one and two. Mickey Mouse i know but comming up
With a proper fix is getting more and more of a problum, i am going to see about this idea of
Mine.

SENET is a protocol name, not a connector name.  The connector is usually referenced by the manufacturer, then connector type and spacing.  You are looking for Wire to Board connectors.

I believe these are it, but you have to measure the pitch (distance) between each wire to get the correct parts.

:burningresistor:  :bomb: :burningresistor:    I wouldn't do that if I were you,  pins 1 and 2 are just a loop for the panel LED voltage which comes from R-4 on the motherboard. pin 2 of j-10 goes to pin 5 of J-3 .pin 5 of j-3 goes to pin 19 of j-203, pin 6 of j-3 goes to pin 20 of j-203, from j-203 they go to the door optic.  pins 19 and 20 are for the cabinet optics,

let me look through my pile of wiring and see if I could find the 20 pin header you need, you need the part that plugs into the motherboard, correct??

Is this it. 20 Pin Straight.? Marked MX 2H.  I thought Molex but not finding anything. But I agree a used cut off would be easier unless you get the correct crimper and contact ends. I did see a DuPont connector on eBay that looked similar but couldn't see pic of the 20 pin one they showed

That would be "sunnys" R2340 series of connectors on their website.
Let them that don't want any, have memories of not getting any.

Update:
Well all my leads were ending at a dead end, couldn't find a replacement plug anywhere, and I had to do something even if it was wrong, so I did just that, ran two jumper wires off the back of the mother board from those two pins, tied them into the optic wires and BINGO, problem over. This was a nightmare and I am really glad it's over.
Thanks Everyone!
