monte carlo error 77

just got this game together, and worked well till i ht a bpnus spin , wheel didnt spin, got a 77 that wont go away after a full clear, games just locked up with the 77


after i get the error to finally go is there a way to self test the upper section and motor ect.....so i dont go through all this again next time it hits a bonus

Swapped stepper motor no change
Swapped encoder board no change
Swapped bonus board, second board gives a 91 comm error guess that ones bad too lol ....... only thing I can see left is the transistors on the bonus board that control the stepper .
