Sometimes game on bottom monitor goes out

Hi guys just a question, So once in a wile, I've seen my bottom monitor go from say airplane to the wms screen for like 10 secs when machine is not being played. also seen this behavior in other games as well. It's not often but it happens enough. Is this a hardware thing? or is this typical behavior for bb2 wms?

The Video card is a bit flaky, and make sure the fan on the side of the cpu is running full speed to cool the card and the logic door is closed

the game does come back in aprox 5 to 10 sec, fan is good also there is no logic door.

That fan is supposed to cool the video card, if no logic door it's not getting all the air it needs so the video card is over heating.

Go with a logic door. 

But, the damage may have already been done, so adding the door may not prevent it from happening again.  Only time will tell.

However there is another possibility.....

If the game is set up as multi-denom and it is idle, with NO credits on it after playing anything other than the "base" denomination, it will go "blank" aka WMS logo while it converts back to the "base" denomination. Might even do it to get back to the "ready state" screen like it was when first loaded.

I always set my games up to be 1 cent 2 cent 5 cent and 25 cent denomination when the JUR/Game allows it.  After playing at 5 cents for example I cash out or spend all my credits, the game will revert back to the 1 cent denomination as part of getting ready to go into the attract mode etc......

Just a thought...................

wow i will attempt to recreate it to see if that is it.. the game was multi-demon and there might have been credits on that and it was in attract mode when I noticed it.. I hop it's not the vid card.. little bastered is at least 150...

ok so it happens when resetting to 1 cent. I have 1cent 25 cent and 1.00 denoms set so that is just a reset to 1 cent when in attract after game was being played on say 25cent  or 1.00 it resets to base denom 1 cent....
