Since mine is coin (quarters now) only with no DBV will I still need the set 19 chip?  I have a set chip but it is labeled BV on/off and I have no idea what number it is.

Usually a set chip for the B/V only is a Set 15. You need the specific set chips for these so you can set the value of each coin inserted and what type of setup you want, Euro, token etc. I read through the PSR and like the SP1137, when you set the machine to token, it will automatically set the credit limit to 9999. It sounds the same to me.

The chips I have coming are SP 873 and SS 4263.  So I would use a SP 1137 and SS 4263 together for DD Haywire?  Sorry to be so dense on this subject but all this is way above my pay grade/expertise level.

If using the SP1137, SET086 is required to modify the token value, enable/disable the bill
acceptor, select the country code associated with the bill acceptor, select the SAS
Enhanced Cashless Transaction (ECT) option, and modify the denomination.

No the SP 873 is a type 2/21 chip, a haywire chip. The Sp 1137 is a type 0,1,4,5 etc. chip. A chip that has no special features. If you are wanting to try the chip to work the Haywire and allow you to add more coins for credit, I would try the SP 1059 with the Set 19 and your SS4263.

Thanks to member RB, (excellent service) I have the correct chips and we are now enjoying the Haywire version of Double Diamond .
