Sounds like you need to set machine to upright or slant top, whichever you have.  7.1.6  Is machine a s2000 vision or is it an I-game?

Sorry, if its a M slot I have no idea.

Probably a S2000.  They didn't make a MS Little Green Men M slot. 

Bill can you post a picture of your machine?  The photo has to be less than 1MB so you may have to resize it to meet that requirement.

I put a new mpu board in it and a motherboard still cant get the monitor to come on

If you change machine type to upright you may be good to go. May need to keychip 7.1.6 = machine type

Check the battery in monitor.

Is there the correct game card in top monitor?

It's right next to the side card slot.  Game card is in top slot?  Side slot should be empty.

Does it say machine "TYPE" mismatch? If yes, you need to use key chip to set machine type. Monitor most likely needs an invertor board or your connections at the monitor are loose

yes it says mismatch....now i have 3 lights on the board ......but my monitor is still not lit up.......thank you all for your help still at it
