Okay...I powered up my BB2 today and all I got was the reels calibrating, bill acceptor starting up but a black LCD with the "No Signal" error message for a few seconds then goes off but the reels still calibrating....forever.
That is all that happens - whether the door is open or closed.
I checked out LCD DV cables, both ends.
I just don't like the way it's routed coming off the top off the MPU box.
The cable takes a very severe bend immediately to come forward to clear the amplifier
and the printer unit before it goes over to the left wall of the cabinet. Is that the way this DV cable is normally routed?
That's a bad way to treat a video cable?
Any ideas?
I fixed it....apparently the latch for the MPU wasn't hooked into the little tab and the MPU was slightly loose.
My guess is that one of the pins wasn't fully grasped by a female pin fully?
Anyway, there was no way that latch should have been left open under the MPU box.
I'm thinking the MPU had shifted slightly during a move earlier in the day.
I am a fairly new owner of this machine and am very pleased with it but I see some routing of cables in a funny way.
That DV cable shouldn't have such a severe bend.
Are you guys seeing that with the DV cable too?
Below is a little video before I removed the MPU box to see why it was loose.
