Heres the odd thing about this.If I put the CF and smart card without the SSD in a regular red board it runs fine. Its seems like all the SSD does is enable you to run the software without a bios chip on the board.Dont know the reason they would do that.

I thought you said earlier that with the standard u1 and u2 chips that the game wouldn't boot?  I'm really confused now, were you not using a "standard" red board before?

If I connect the CF,smart and the SSD on a standard red board this is the error I get...

If I disconnect the SSD it boots fine.

That is probably because the first device it mounts first is the SSD, so it is trying to load the game off the SSD, but I don't believe the game is on the SSD, but rather only whatever is needed to boot the system using no Bios.  Maybe it is a jurisdictional thing?  Who knows.  So on a standard board withe a u2 that is 2.x and the U1 installed, the game works like any other game?

Interesting. Is this why every SSD I see on fleabay is being sold "without" the SIM card?

And it appears that you also need the CF to go along with the Simm card based on your findings.

or there is something wrong with the SSD and it isn't booting correctly...

On Delphi forums a guy mentioned fixing NxP based boards.. There was no discussion around requiring both the CF and the SD...

Has anyone compared the contents of the CF Card and the SSD to see whether the contents the same?
