So - the other day I sold my S6000 to a guy - after he picked it up - it starts throwing error 31 -- remove and reseat the hopper -- the error clears and then at random intervals it fails. Last night I visit the guys house.. we fill the hopper, run test 4 for like 10 minutes.. no issues at all with the coins/coin counter. pump a 60$ into the machine via bills, hit cash out -- spits out 240 quarters without a hiccup -- plays all night no issues..
dude moves the machine to his beach condo -- and it throws error 31 every time he hits cash out.. has to pull the hopper and put it back in EVERY time no matter how many coins.
damn thing is starting to aggravate the living hell out of me. Looking around the board I can jumper the hopper to make it think the optic is good - but what is the risk there.. and what is the cost to replace the optic if I have to -- and HOW do I replace the optic if that is the issue.
how do I clean it first?
