IGT Touchscreen not responding

I have a IGT kenny rogers game it has a 3902 board new software in it....it goes through the set up but after it boots up....the touchscreen want respond....any ideas......it works during the set up but not after......

Can you do a touchscreen test?  Try doing the test while one hand touches something that is grounded, like the outside of the cabinet, or simply take put your bare foot on the floor.  This will ensure you are grounded  If it works like that, then your touchscreen ground is not good.

I tried the ground thing still nothing...And it want let me do a touchscreen test either....it's like its frozen..up.....but when you turn the key and go back to diagnostic the touchscreen will communicate with the screen.....

sounds like there might be a door open. if its working after pushing the test button or turning the key but frozen when not in the menus more then likely its a door open..   not sure where on the kenny rogers the door/system messages display

I ran into this problem before. It drove me crazy trying to figure it out. In my case it was a bad printer. I unplugged the printer the touch worked plugged it back no touch. May not be your problem but worth a try?

Door Open M is main door.  Do you have optics on your machine?  If you do they either failed, or are not aligned.
