Quarter-size Slot Tokens

I'd like to run tokens through my S+. What should I be looking for? What should I be avoiding? I've seen some on Amazon and EBay, but I'd like some input from those already using them.

If your using a upright S+ any of the Pashilo .944 tokens work just fine. A Pashilo is a Japanese skill stop slot.
They also roll nicely in the quarter sized paper "shotgun tubes" 
Lots of the .944 around. Some are better than others - the heavier ones sound better in the coin tray, and feel better too.
Some are a bit palastised (sp ?? plastic feeling) and are light.

If your using a slant they get jammed in the hopper elevator and you need to go for the more expensive ones that are exactly quarter sized.

I have 3 x S+ and a PE+ - I have just around 7000 tokens. When you buy them buy lots of the same one. The metal content from vendor X is going to be different from vendor Y.
USPS has these flat rate boxes that the vendor can use, stupid heavy and can get expensive to ship.

The pashilos (japanese slots)use a mechanical coin acceptance system so metal differences don't matter.

If you had 3 different brands of tokens the coin comparator in the S+ slot "may" reject some of them, even after you adjusted the sensitivity wide and with the really cheap ones the metal content varies from token to token.  I probably bought close to 12,000 tokens and weeded them out to the 7000 that I have now over time. I didn't have this advice so I bought from about 15 different sources.

I might also suggest you buy some Casino Coin Cups (ebay) as they are not made any more and you probably want to get some wet wipes as the coins do get a bit black over time and casinos used to have these in buckets all over the place. Regular currency has this problem too so I am not calling this out as a token only problem.

Personally I like to roll my tokens - I used to leave coin cups full next to the machine - since there was no sense of loss people would play a few and move on ... give them a roll - they play the roll and come back looking for more. I buy my tubes from Netbankstore.com and they even imprint your home casino name on the tubes (low cost).

I bought few thousand of those cruise ship tokens and they are very nice. Very similar to a real quarter . You won't be disappointed.

I'm wanting to switch over to tokens also, but one of my machines is a Bally. I'm undecided on using the Brybelly cherry or the cruise ship tokens. Any plusses or minuses on either on a Bally?

the Brybelly only have cherries on them - the cruise ship have more detail plus the 25c indication. The Brybelly are new - the cruise ship are used.  Then there is the price difference.  BTW - i am the dealer selling the cruise ship tokens

I have bought about 3000 tokens from GOS, and I’ve never had an issues in my S2000, PE, S+, or Bally 5500 & 6000 Pro machines. They even work in my old quarter Bally EM and E-Series slots.. I’ll buy more from him down the road if I need them.

Tokens came in on Friday (stupid fast shipping!). I popped one in the comparitor and adjusted the sensitivity down a bit, and they work just fine. Thanks for all the recommendations!!
