Bally Model E1203 4 reel code 43

Needing some advise on my new slot. When your pull the handle all four reels spin nice but only the first two stop then tilt appears. It shows a code 43. I swapped the reader with the 4th reel and it still goes to a code 43. Looking for some tips and advise as to the next steps. Thanks Tom

Reel stop solenoids and associated levers are gummed up.

Take the reel mechanism out, clean and lube all moving parts.

If the reel doesn't stop when it's supposed to, the machine will tilt and code will set.

I figured it out after I cleaned and made certain everything worked smoothly. The problem was one of the reel readers did not light. after I took the reader out I found the bulbs had been replaced prior and one of the lights must have out farther than the others and was broken.
