Voltages Present?
« on: May 26, 2015, 12:50:27 PM »
Hello all..............

Quick question:

I have a BB1 cabinet that has a flat 4 plug female molex connector near the door hinge about the area of the button deck that has red and blue and striped red and blue wires that have a P2 label band around them.

Can you tell me what voltages would be present there??

Thanks

Steve

If you don't have a voltmeter at least post a photo of what you are talking about.
If it ain't broke don't mess with it.....

It is for your belly glass light.
Didn't check the voltage.

Sorry but belly glass light is plugged in already.  It does look similar to the molex connector that does that job though.  Is that 110v or 12 volts.  Still trying to figure how to attach a picture to my reply.....
Also should add that it is in the body of the game.  Does not reach out to the door area only just to about the hinge.

The only thing I can think of is the player tracking interface. If you need the voltage you need a velometer like idesign said.

Like the other fellas have said it may be the belly light connection.
I have a machine that's been converted from florescent lights to LED lighting, so the original light plug isn't used.
You may want to check if your machine has been converted like that also.

Good luck!

So does the P2 label indicate anything about the type of voltage present. I would think all the P2 harness' would be the same voltage......??
