S2000 IGT powers up but all lights blink

 hello everyone I have an IGT S2000 haywire deluxe when I turn it on it says the net link is down and the bill validator light flashes, turned back off and then power it  backup and works fine. it never did this before here are some photos maybe  some of you have had this issue before.

Do you have another power supply to try? Sounds like it is going bad.

Your varta (green) battery is going bad. You have an enhanced board set.  You can replace it or there is a post to remove some components and the green battery altogether.

qbert good catch, I missed seeing the enhanced board. Yes remove both the green battery and u16.

 thank you guys very much, would you have a link to the post that explains how to get to the green battery and the components or what components is that a better way to go  it sounds like it may be. avoid future problems. thanks again a really  appreciate your help.
