Hello,

This is highly speculative on my part as I've never dealt with one of these switches. I imagine these are normally closed switches that open, causing the machine to stop operating. If this were the case, bypassing the device would be as simple as connecting the wires in and out together. Like I said highly speculative on my part. Photos would help

Thank you

Thanks for the help guys.
I have attached 3 pictures of the Anti-Cheat Device.
I also have another question. on my "Odds Unit" the lower solenoid froze up after overheating and melted the plunger into the coil.I have a new coil ordered but after breaking the plunger out, I see no spring in it.Can I use that same plunger? and is there a spring that I am missing somewhere?

Okay, found this posted on the NEW LIFE GAMES site titled, Bally 847 Continental restoration dated August 20, 2013, page 5. Person had same problem with anti cheat switch and a solution was posted. Check it out, might be exactly what you can do to bypass coil. You might wait for a second opinion from someone who actually preform this bypass just to be safe.

Sorry to ask in this topic, but does somebody know the coil part no for the anti cheat relay? It has 3 lugs to support the hold circuit.

I started a new topic with the same question but it got moved somehow to the classifieds part.

coil I think is KKN-341 (120 ohms).  See if you can find the 341 under any charring - it's right below the 120.  Pinball resource - $10

C-7800-341 is close enough to work also.

the 935 used a G-34-580/34-2020 (or just G-34-580/2020, but iir it's not size compatible with the 847 relay frame)

to answer the original question from 2016 ... :-)

the really quick hack assuming no fuses are blowing (the coil fried open) is wedge a hunk of cardboard in there to hold the armature plate down on the coil top and you're good to go.

the more elegant hack is loosen the relay frame screws so you can slip a zip tie under the frame and around the coil/armature to zip tie the armature plate down.

if you are blowing fuses because the coil shorted, disconnect the red/white and black wires.

you can get around to replacing the coil in the next couple years ... or decades.  It's not important for home use, and barely important in a casino.  The only way to unpower it after the first coin drop is to open a tilt switch.

you could remove it completely and connect the switch wires like they would be when the relay is powered.

That was my doing, sorry!  Usually when it's something you need to buy, our members usually respond quicker there and can provide you with part numbers, sources, etc. I'll delete that post since it was answered here.
