Haywire rebuild

i just rebuilt a Haywire S+ slot machine ..i had to order everything for this machine..( Motherboards,logic.chipset,trays..ect)..i have the motherboard power plug coming on friday then it will be ready to turn it on..i got this machine gutted ..is there anything that i need to do prier to turning it on ..the power supply was good because the lights lit up before i ordered everything else. thanks.. the jumpers on the boarder set and a new battery was installed

I guess I would check the fuses with a meter, if you have one, then cross your fingers. There will be error codes etc. to go through on start up but man it will be cool to see the old gal come to life.     Let us know how it goes.

all the fuses are good and the harnesses are in good shape..i have always loved this game.. thanks and will let you know

the machine will not power up ...the capacitor  one of 4 black one is very hot...there is a humming sound on the logic board..the reels go into lock position but don't post spin

i got the machine up and running fine,,then error 43 appeared and the third reel went into tilt..i changed it out with the number two reel and the 43 code still came ups i guess the reel is fine fuses are good..the pins are all in good shape all aligned right..cou;d it be the door optics..thanks

OK you changed the reels and the 43 cleared when you closed the door? Then after playing the 43 came back again? If closing the door did not clear the error, I would suspect door optics or cash box door switch. If cash box door twist the switch wires together and tape them.
