Back light reel bummer :/

Hey, everyone you migh remember that I have an IGT S2000 Play 75 Credits 5 PayLines Double Diamond backlit reel slot machine that I got last May, For the longest time I’ve been trying to figure out why the backlit reels didn’t light up...Today I discovered that there are no light bulbs in the sockets


I’m wondering where you can find backlit reel bulbs?
 (This maybe a future project because I am saving for college expenses) Thank you for your time

You can use 12v or 14v T10 wedge bulbs.  I upgrade to LED bulbs.

Before you start buying bulbs, you might want to make sure your machine has the controller board and correct wiring harness for the reels. The control board mounts on the back wall, between the bell and handle gearbox. The wiring plugs into the IO Board on the right side on the MPU Board housing and connects to each reel, the to the control board if I remember correctly.
You can also use #161 bulbs. The original replacement bulbs are expensive.

I have a bag of xe359's that I pulled to put in leds.  I think they are the original expensive xenon bulbs.  Let me know if you want 20 of them.

That sounds like the correct bulb numbers for the backlit bulbs.

I too have a huge bag of the original Xenon lamps.  Converted all to LED's and never looking back!  If someone needs some, just pay shipping.

You may also want to confirm that the strips are backlight strips. On the back side of the strips they should be black or gray.  If they are white like the front  side of the strips they are probably not backlight strips.
